The external and internal entry are huge parts of the design of our home. They are also some of my favourite spaces. I love that you can see there pool area right from the front door. The entry makes a huge impression when we invite guests into our home.
Last year we put together a stunning Palma Soleada – Grand Entry Reveal which was so well received. Since then we have made a few changes to the space and I wanted to update you on the current vibe.
We switched out the artwork which had come from a house we built five years ago. We didn’t feel like the older stuff represented us now, and we needed a fresh look. Our new artwork has completely transformed this space, and I am so in loved with it. I found the artist, Bree Cole Studio, on instagram a few months prior and after stalking her page I reached out. We ordered two large pieces of art which arrived completed with oak frames. Bree was incredible at helping me to select the perfect piece from her collection, but she can also custom create them to suit your space. I love the coastal feel of Bree’s pieces and cannot believe the difference they have made to our home. You can also find Bree Cole Studio on Instagram.
Another new addition to the entry space is new pot from The Balcony Garden. We already had eight Balcony Garden pots throughout our home so we new what great quality their product was. We decided to add The Chop to the centre of our outdoor courtyard. We went with the 8100mm diameter extra large. The Chop comes in white, concrete grey and charcoal, we went with the latter. Our The Balcony Garden pots are the statement pieces of our entry and really add to it’s grand feel. You can also find The Balcony Garden on Instagram.
Lastly, a new white floor cushion was added to lighten up the entry. I had it custom made for the space.
Detail for all of the existing entry pieces can be found in my blog post – Palma Soleada – Grand Entry.
We have a few more pieces arriving early next year for our entry which I can’t wait to share the with you! Our interior stylist Katrina from De Vere Design Co will be styling it to perfection and I will blog it then!
Lots of love,
