I am so excited to be sharing our pool house reveal with you! The pool house is a seperate building to our main house, it consists of two rooms (one yet to be styled,) and a bathroom. It also has a stunning outdoor entertaining space attached to it. For the pool house reveal we focused on styling one of the rooms and the pool house bathroom. My husband uses this room as a games space so we wanted it to be chic and stylist, but not too feminine. It needed plenty of seating and space to place drinks, and a pool table which was still pleasing on the eye. The pool house looks onto the swimming pool, so the room lends itself to a coastal vibe. We didn’t have a huge budget for this space, because it is a bit of a bonus room, so we wanted to use as many existing pieces from our house as possible. We also needed to make sure that the room tied in well with the already styled outdoor entertaining space which is right next to it.
We worked with Katrina from De Vere Design Co, to get our pool house styled to perfection. She handled the design, conception and styling of the space. What an incredible job Katrina did putting it together. She understood out objective; to create a stylish space, on a budget, using as many existing pieces from our furniture and decor collection as possible. The result is a fun, colourful, coastal room. It is so inviting, and a great addition for entertaining friends and family. Thank you Katrina!

A note from Katrina….
The iconic pool room has been reimagined here to reflect the vibrant and social nature of our clients Ryan and Natalie. Continuing with our use of colour in this home, we have added cool coastal stripes in softer bold tones on the beautiful cushions from CLO Studios. They are the perfect fit for this space, with a semi structured look, the way we have styled them compliments the Chesterfield lounges perfectly. Relaxing the space with the use of coastal art in a beautiful set of images, and then balancing the space and giving the illusion of it being larger by adding in the large mirror and lightening the space. Pops of interest with the perfect pot from Mimo Pots, book stacks and plants to the coffee table adds to the semi structured yet coastal cool feel of this space.
