Oaks Casuarina is conveniently located just a short drive from the Gold Coast Airport, making it easily accessible for both domestic and international travelers. You can reach this tropical paradise within a 15-minute drive from the airport, so you’ll be able to start your vacation in no time. For our own recent holiday at Oaks we enjoyed an easy two and half hour drive from the Sunshine Coast.
Accommodation Options
One of the standout features of Oaks Casuarina is the diverse range of accommodation options. Whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, with family, or in a large group, you’ll find something to suit your needs. The resort offers a variety of hotel rooms and self-contained apartments, many of which come with stunning ocean views or overlook the lush green surroundings, and some have the option to walk straight out onto the hotels incredible swimming pool. We have personally holidayed at Oaks Casuarina three times now, and enjoyed both the one and two bedroom apartments. On our most recent trip, we got to enjoy one of the newly renovated rooms, and really loved its coastal charm.
Relaxation by the Pool
The resort boasts an inviting pool area that is perfect for those lazy, sun-soaked afternoons. You can lounge by the pool and soak in the serene atmosphere. The kids can also enjoy a separate green pool which is heated. Our favourite part has always been the spa.

This pristine stretch of sand is perfect for long walks, sunbathing, or simply watching the waves roll in. No holiday is complete without delicious dining experiences, and Oaks Casuarina delivers in this department as well. The on-site restaurant Spice Den offers a delectable menu of pan Asian cuisine. The menu includes dishes such as tuna sashimi with iceberg, sunflower sprouts, soy and yellow bean dressing, as well as a feast of different Thai curries and more.
