The Entrance, located just a scenic two-hour drive from Sydney, is a coastal paradise that boasts a plethora of activities to suit every traveler’s taste. Whether you’re an adventure enthusiast, a nature lover, or simply seeking a tranquil spot to unwind, this charming town has it all. From water sports and fishing to exploring coastal trails and enjoying picnics by the sea, The Entrance offers an array of experiences that cater to all ages.
Introducing Oaks The Entrance Waterfront Suites:
Nestled perfectly along the coastline, the Oaks The Entrance Waterfront Suites epitomises comfort and convenience, with a range accommodations that caters to solo travellers, couples, families, and groups. On our visit, our family of five stayed in a Two bedroom loft apartment with an ocean view. Our room was well-equipped with modern amenities, plush bedding, and two spacious bathrooms.
Exploring The Entrance:
Our stay in The Entrance was a short and sweet one night stop on a road trip to the snow. After arriving in the early afternoon and checking into the hotel, we walked straight the Oaks front door and onto a huge children’s park and waterfront playground. This was the perfect place to straight our legs after a seven hour drive. We loved watching the pelicans fly over our heads and land in the nearby water. Next we strolled onto Memorial Park before looping back down to The Social Club, where we had dinner and drinks at Mrs Mays. This was absolutely delicious. After dinner we headed back to the hotel for a night time swim, before bed.
The next morning, before an early check out, we went for a quick swim in the hotel pool. Then it was time to head off to our next road trip destination. Before leaving the Entrance, we made sure to stop off to admire it’s many beautiful beaches and bays, and of course the famous ocean baths.
Creating Lasting Memories:
The Entrance offers a chance to slow down, enjoy life’s simple pleasures, and embrace the beauty of nature. It was the perfect stop for night two on our road trip from the Sunshine Coast to the snow.
