Novotel, South Bank, Brisbane

In the Easter school holidays we enjoyed a stunning stay at the Novotel, South Bank, Brisbane. It was such an easy getaway for us, being just one hours drive from the Sunshine Coast. We love our mini getaways to Brisbane, the city has so much to offer for families and every time we go we try something new.

The Novotel South Bank is a located in the heart of the cultural precinct of the city. It is perfectly placed to enjoy Brisbane and it’s authentic river city lifestyle. In just a short walk you can find art galleries, museums, the famous South Bank swimming pools, world class shopping, restaurants and more. The rooms feel huge and are well appointed with lots of variety; from rooms to suites, some even with pool access, and themed rooms. There is a gym as well as a swimming pool, and very easy car parking options. The hotel also has its own restaurant, Spice Central Kitchen & Bar. We enjoyed both the buffet breakfast and dinner menus, as well as the in-room dining at the Novotel. They had a fantastic school holiday program on offer and our three children really enjoyed their art class, and the balloon twisting.

Outside of the hotel we had a great day exploring South Bank and it’s surrounds, swimming in the pool and eating ice cream. On our final day we visited Chermside, on our drive back to the Sunshine Coast, to catch the new Super Mario movie at the gold class cinemas.

This was a fantastic and very comfortable mini break, thanks to Novotel South Bank, who we highly recommend and will no doubt visit again.

Enjoy!
