I couldn’t be more excited to share with you our stunning new guest bedroom. I love everything about it; from the functional bedside tables and light wallpaper, to the luxurious linen which ties everything together. I wanted our guest bedroom to feel like home, for anyone who stays in it.
Our interior Designer Katrina, from De Vere Design Co, has created magic here, with a coastal meets Palm Springs vibe. There is something about the colour blue that is so incredibly soothing, and the soft touches of grey. To me the wallpaper evokes the feeling of floating on clouds.
The guest bedroom is located down a the end of a hallway, so it is very private for visitors. The suite includes it’s own walk in robe, ensuite and doors which lead directly onto the garden and pool area.
The bed is an existing piece which I asked Katrina to reuse for the makeover. It is incredibly comfortable and in fantastic condition. She was able to use the wallpaper to tie the bed into the room that she had planned, and it makes an absolutely stunning backdrop for the space. The bedside tables not only function really well within the room, but add a natural timber element to it as well. We installed pendant lights to the space to add a really luxurious hotel feel. The striped linen was the first element of the room to be selected and the rest was formed around that. The blue linen really brightens up the whole space.

Wallpaper – Natty and Polly – Palm Frond Soft Grey This stunning wallpaper really brought the whole room together, and gave it a soft, coastal vibe. This is the third room we have wallpapered with products from Natty and Polly, because their range is honestly so vast and full of beautiful selections for every home.
Bedding – Eadie Lifestyle – Carter Linen Sheet Set, Linen Duvet Set in Blue Azure and Carter Cushions After adding Eadie linen into our Master Suite I knew we had to have it in the guest bedroom as well. The quality of their products is unchallenged, and I love the way linen helps to regulate your body temperature when you sleep at night. As I mentioned above, Katrina actually based the whole room around the Carter stripe and of course it turned out perfectly.
Side Tables – Brosa – Thomas Bedside Table I found it so hard to choose from Katrina’s short list of Brosa side tables, because every one of them looked so stylish and chic. I am familiar with Brosa products and the brand, having one of their armchairs in our Master Bedroom. Their quality and service are always exceptional.
