I recently gate crashed a ‘daddy date day,’ with my husband Ryan and son Ari (aged four), so I could give you a review of the Supersaver Fun Pass and their full itinerary of what they got up to on their day out!
Ryan and Ari kicked off their ‘date day’ with a 30-minute Time Play session at Timezone. Here they had an absolute blast playing arcade style games, their favourite being Super Mario. The atmosphere was great, and they easily filled their session with non-stop fun. After all the games they were able to exchange their 200 Powertickets for a prize, deciding to do what all parents do, combing them all so that Ari could get a brightly coloured windmill.
Next they headed for lunch, where they had a tough decision to make, with ten incredible Riverwalk restaurants to choose from. They had never been to Betty’s Burgers before so decided to give it a try and were not disappointed. Ari had a chicken burger, and Ryan enjoyed a classic burger with soft drink. It was more than enough to fuel them for the rest of their day of fun.
After lunch they checked out what movies were on at BCC Cinemas and settled on Dolitte. Before heading in they purchased some ‘pick n mix’ lollies from the kiosk to enjoy with the film. Dolittle is hilarious, and certainly a fantastic family movie, everyone was giggling through the whole thing.
Their last stop was House of Gelato for Ari’s double scoop Kid’s ice cream. Ari chose the dairy free mixed berry and loved it. They sat and chatted about their fun filled time at the Sunshine Plaza where Ari declared he had the “best day ever!”
Free all-day parking topped off their time and of course made Daddy’s wallet extra happy.
Looking back at the day, Ryan and I both said that we were blown away by the savings and inclusions in the Supersaver Fun Pass. The activities filled Ryan and Ari’s entire day, which at that price point, is almost impossible to do. What is even more important, is that Ari had a smile from ear to ear all day long!
The Supersaver Fun Pass isn’t only great fun for families… grab your partner for a well overdue date day, your Mum for some one-on-one time, or your besties for an afternoon of fun!
