When it came time to plan Chloe’s 8th birthday, we spent a lot of time discussing different options before finally deciding on the perfect celebration—a ‘Plaza Party’ at our local Sunshine Plaza! With so much to see and do, I knew it would be a fantastic way to celebrate with her friends.
We kicked off the day at Timezone, where Chloe and her 14 friends enjoyed an action-packed session of games and bowling. The staff were absolutely wonderful, ensuring everything ran smoothly and the kids had the best time. This was actually our third party at Timezone, and once again, they did not disappoint! The children loved various activities, arcade games and mini bowling. Best of all, Timezone provided everything we needed, including the birthday cake, which made party planning a breeze! After working up an appetite, we headed to Betty’s Burgers for a delicious lunch. To keep things simple, I pre-ordered the meals, which made everything quick and stress-free. The kids had a great time choosing from cheeseburgers, chicken burgers, calamari, and chicken strips. The food was a hit, and the staff were so accommodating, making sure everything was just right for our hungry little party crew.
Next up, we made our way to the movies to watch Paddington in Peru. The kids were so excited, and the movie turned out to be the perfect choice—everyone was glued to the screen, laughing and enjoying the heartwarming adventure. To make the experience even more special, I put together snack boxes for each child, filled with water, chips, and lollies. It was such a simple touch, but it added to the excitement of the day.
As the party came to an end, it was time to hand out party bags. Each child received a small bag filled with a fluffy pen, stickers, a bracelet-making kit, a bag charm, and some lollies—a little something to take home as a reminder of the special day.
Chloe’s Plaza Party was an absolute success! The combination of games, food, and a movie made for a fun-filled day that the kids will remember for a long time. I loved how easy it was to plan, and most importantly, Chloe had the best day celebrating with her friends.
