Five ingredient vegan (or not) sausage and sage. 

I love serving this warm and hearty meal to my family. Personally we use vegan sausages because two of our family are vegan. However, you could use whatever sausages you like. Enjoy it with some delicious mash potato or crusty bread for a delicious supper. 

Serves 4. 

– 6 x sausages 
– one onion 
– small handful of fresh sage 
– 400 grams cannellini beans 
– 800 grams diced tomatoes 

Brown the onion in a frying pan. 

All the beans, sage and tomatoes. Bring to a simmer. 

Add the sausages and cook on low for 20 minutes. (Check the sausages are cooked as times may vary.) 

Serve with mashed potato and broccolini. 

Enjoy with a glass of wine.
