Palma Soleada – Kitchen and Living Space Reveal

I am so excited to be sharing our kitchen and living space reveal with you! This whole area is the hub of our home. It is where we eat together, watch movies together, relax together and just enjoy each other’s company. We wanted to create a space that was bright, open and welcoming.

We worked with Katrina from De Vere Design Co, to get our kitchen and living space styled to perfection. She handled the design, conception and styling of the space. What an incredible job Katrina did putting it together. She understood our objective; to create a space that was stylish and also liveable. The result is absolutely spot on and we are overwhelmed with how much we love it! Thank you Katrina!

A note from Katrina….
Here we are on the final space in there Sullivan home and it makes me sad. It has been the most wonderful three years taking our time and working on each space inside and out of the home. Being able to work so closely with Natalie over this time has given me a really beautiful understating of the family. They are a vivacious and playful family centred around creating meaningful experience, and memories amongst themselves and with there friends.

So it is no surprise that the heart of the home needed to reflect this, the layout of the space as designed by Icon Building Design, really leant itself to open plan, inclusive living, and we have just enhanced this feeling with a mix of simple elegant and playful styling. We have kept the pallet natural in timbers that add warmth against the polished concrete floor, we then have layered in colour with pops of green, and grounded the space through textured cushions and layered décor.

The décor is mostly in a white base with varying shapes and heights, this adds softness to a space and style, without over powering the over all aesthetic of the space. Adding in greenery and fresh fruit adds an earthy feeling to the home.  We hope you love this well balanced and playful space. I know that Natalie and Ryan will create many beautiful memories here.
