Palma Soleada – Play Room Refresh Reveal

You may remember that late in 2019 we put together a play room reveal for our home, Palma Soleada. Since then our lives and our children have changed a lot, so we decided it was time to do a little play room refresh. Ari and Chloe have both gotten older, and we now have our little Rosie as well. It was time to change up the play room by adding in new play stations which are appropriate to the children’s current ages, as well as making new spaces for little Rosie. We kept a lot of the existing furniture and moved the space around to make it even more functional. It was a great time for me to clear out old and broken toys too. The rug was changed over to a beautiful piece from Rugs For Good. We chose something colourful to really brighten the space up and wanted a big rug to cover most of the carpet. We changed the canopy from grey to Ari and Chloe’s favourite colour, pink! The biggest difference was the addition of a half wall of wallpaper from Natty and Polly, which Ryan finished off with a white painted timber divider. Ari and Rosie recently had birthdays so I oragnsied new toys which would work in well with the space like Ari’s Lego table and a Lama rocker for Rosie. We worked with Katrina from De Vere Design Co, who is a complete wizard at interior design, conception and styling. She created the oringal play space design for us so it was a breeze to work with her again on this. She had some incredible ideas and her styling finished the room off to absolute perfection.
