We recently celebrated Rosie’s baptism at a local Catholic Church in Tewantin. Following the church service, along with our guests, we enjoyed a long lunch at Ricky’s. It was a beautiful day for our baby girl, full of love and joy.
Rosie is lucky to have two sets of god parents, my brother and sister in law, and two of our best friends.
Rosie wore a baptism gown which was made from the same cut of fabric as my wedding gown. It included all of the incredible lace detailing that my own dress did. Her brother and sister also wore the same piece for their baptisms.
Our guests enjoyed a beautiful meal on the river. We treated them to cupcakes from SweetP Cakes and Cookies, and they all went home with a candle and a cookie, also from SweetP.
Concierge Connect helped me to organsie the day by making the restaurant booking, designing the invitation and ordering/wrapping gifts for our very special god parents. (Below you can see Sandie from Concierge Connect meeting me at home to discuss Rosie’s special day.)
Nicola Holland Photography was on hand to not only be Rosie’s wonderful god mother, but she kindly brought along her camera to photograph the occasion.
I wore a dress by Rebecca Vallance, hired from Glam Corner. My girls wore outfits from Miann and Co, and Ari wore Zara Kids. Ryan wore whatever he put on five minutes before we left home LOL.
Three beautiful babies, all now baptised. I realised that I have never shared images from Ari and Chloe’s special days, so scroll to the bottom and take a peek.

Chloe’s baptism was held in a beautiful Catholic Church in Cooroy. Prior to the service we enjoyed lunch at Maison de Provence, which is a sweet little cafe only a few hundred meters from the church. Our guests went home for macaroons that the cafe had made for them.

Ari’s baptism was in the same Catholic Church that Chloe’s was held in. After the service we went to my parents home for lunch on their veranda. Family kindly brought food items to share and all guests went home with some homemade jam from my Mother. Something really special about this time was that we served the top tier of our wedding cake.

I hope you have enjoyed this walk down memory lane and sharing some of our family’s speical occasions.
Lots of love,
