SAVE and SHARE this one. I think it’s pretty special. “Every morning when I open my curtains for that first look at the day, no matter what the day looks like—raining, foggy, overcast, sunny—my heart swells with gratitude. I get another chance.
Our ensuite reveal is here and linked in my bio. Loving styled by @de_vere_design_co I am obsessed with this space, especially the outdoor shower. Wait til you see those tiles from @sunshineliving_tileandstone ekkk. I have a full list of all the products on the blog post, as well as lots more photos. Any questions let me know. I’m so excited to have another room complete at @palmasoleada 🌵 Photos by @nicolahollandphotography
Just some thoughts... Today I was reading about another Mother’s breastfeeding experience and the reasons why she had decided to wean her baby to a bottle at 10 months old. There were a few reasons like a work trip she had to take, and one mentioned that it had negatively effected her sex life. It really made me think about how everyone’s feeding journey can be so different. Also the many aspects involved in decisions to breastfeed or not to, and how long to feed for. There really is no one size fits all when it comes to what to feed a baby and how long for. I do feel very lucky to have had three very positive breastfeeding experiences. But also my positive doesn’t mean that it’s someone else’s positive either. It’s all about your choice and what’s best for your baby and for you as the mother, based on your own situation. 📷 This photo by @rosemiaphotography is magic 🪄
We had such a fun and BIG day exploring Southbank, Brisbane, and have found Oaks Festival Towers to be the perfect base. I have always believed that travelling and creating memories together is the greatest gift that you could give someone. A weekend getaway to an @oaks_hotels Hotel to celebrate Mother’s Day would make the ideal gift! Oaks Gift Vouchers (available via the Oaks Website) can be used at 55 destinations across Australia and NZ. It’s the perfect gift for mum, whether used for a relaxing weekend away or for a little adventure. Send this to a loved one end make a hint for Mother’s Day, or buy one yourself. Thanks to these couple of bed heads for waking me up to see the sunrise this morning! Enjoying a weekend away at @oaks_hotels Festival Towers. It’s right in the city centre on Charlotte Street so perfect for exploring. Today we are off to Southbank to check out the Queensland Museum, Wheel of Brisbane and the Southbank pool. #visitbrisbane #destinationbrisbane #visitqld
Unsolicited marital advice - marry your best friend.
I saved up for this space over the course of 5 years. Every time I sold something that belonged to the children I put the money in a seperate bank account. My plan was that when they were old enough they could choose a holiday to go on. Then Covid happened and I decided I wanted to put the money into creating more memories in our own backyard (literally.) I adore watching them play in this space. One day I want to add a sunshade and maybe some monkey bars? Any ideas of what else I can save up for to put in the playground?
Children can be pretty stinky, am I right?! Smelly nappies, soccer boots and everything else. @mask_co have a range of sprays to make it all better, whether it’s for the toilet or any other room in the house. They contain no parabens or phthalates, so are safe for the whole family. The fragrances are fun but realistic; banana lollies, butterscotch pudding, baby powder and more. One of the best parts is they are Aussie made in Byron Bay. Get 15% off your order with code Natalie15 #ilovemaskco (Ad)
