How to Create a Mother’s Day Celebration to Remember

Mother’s Day is a time to honour the incredible women in our lives, and what better way to do so than with a beautifully styled celebration? Our recent Mother’s Day-inspired shoot at Essense Peregian Springs was filled with love, elegance, and special details that made the day unforgettable. From breathtaking florals to delicious sweet treats, every element came together perfectly to create a dreamy setting that celebrates motherhood most beautifully.

A Sophisticated & Heartfelt Tablescape

The key to any Mother’s Day gathering is a beautifully styled table, and Sunshine Weddings brought this to life with a soft, romantic setup. Featuring delicate linen from Table Art Event Hire and stunning stationery by Little J Design, the tablescape exuded warmth and sophistication. Soft pastels, elegant gold accents, and fresh blooms created an inviting space for mothers and their loved ones to gather and enjoy precious moments together.

Florals by Blooms of Noosa added the perfect finishing touch. Their arrangements featured soft neutral tones with whites, and hints of greenery, embodying the essence of Mother’s Day—graceful, feminine, and full of life.

Elegant Mother’s Day Fashion

Dressing up for a special occasion makes it even more memorable. I wore a timeless pink dress by Billy J for this dreamy shoot, and Rosie wore a dress from Cotton On.

My look was completed with flawless hair and makeup by Sunshine Brides, enhancing the natural beauty of the occasion with soft waves and radiant, glowing makeup.

Delicious Sweet Treats

No Mother’s Day celebration would be complete without a selection of decadent desserts, and SweetP Cakes and Cookies along with SweetP Cutters delivered the most stunning cake and cookies. Each sweet treat was carefully designed with intricate floral details and delicate neutral hues, making them almost too beautiful to eat—almost! My favourite was the little pot made of cookies with the cookie flowers in them, even the soil was made of cookie! Just divine!!!
