Kids World Adventureland Sippy Downs: The Ultimate Easy Kids Birthday Party Venue
Rosie just turned six, and if you follow along here, you’ll know I love a good celebration, but this year, especially, with how full our plates have been, I wanted something that felt special without taking over my entire month. We booked a private party at Kids World Adventure Indoor Playland and cafe in Sippy Downs, and I’m glad we did, because it ended up being one of the easiest parties we’ve ever organised.
One of the things I loved about booking there is just how many options they give you. If you want a more traditional birthday party, they’ve got Standard, Premium and EPIC packages, each one building on the last with extras like a roaming party host, hot food platters, fairy bread and an ice cream cake with candles, all hosted in their private party rooms with unlimited play time for the kids. But because we wanted the whole venue to ourselves, we went with a Private Hire instead and gives you exclusive use of the entire center. Even within that, there’s a choice to make: you can go fully DIY and self-cater everything, or have them take care of the catering for you. Given everything going on this year, we chose the catered private hire option, and it was honestly the best decision. We still brought along some of our own decorations to add that little extra touch and make the day feel personal to Rosie, but beyond that, we just got to turn up and enjoy it.
The food side of things was sorted without us having to think twice. They had some of Rosie’s absolute favourites, chicken nuggets and chips, which is basically a six-year-old’s dream, and we ordered food for the adults too, so everyone was looked after. No juggling catering orders or stressing about timing, it was all just taken care of. The only thing we brought ourselves was the birthday cake.
What really made the party, though, was how much there was for the kids to actually do. They ran three different craft stations, so the kids had a few options to choose from and could get creative for as long as they wanted. And when they needed a breather from all the excitement, there was a Lego room set up for some quieter downtime, which honestly felt like such a thoughtful touch for a party with a big group of energetic kids.
But if I’m being honest, the real star of the show was the gigantic slide. The kids were obsessed with it the entire party, going up and down on repeat, and it kept them entertained for hours.
Looking back, what I loved most about the whole day was just how simple it was to organise. In a year that has felt non-stop, being able to give Rosie a party that felt big and special without it costing me weeks of planning and stress was such a relief. If you’re after a venue that takes the pressure off while still giving the kids an amazing time, I cannot recommend Kids World Adventure Indoor Playland and Café enough. You can check out everything they offer over at kidsworldplay.com.au/locations/sippy-downs, and give them a follow on Instagram at @kidsworldsippydowns.
Happy sixth birthday to my sweet girl. Here’s to many more adventures together.
This party was a collaboration with Kids World Adventureland Playland and. Café, however all thoughts and opinions are my own.
Lots of love!
