Our Ten-Night Family Bali Itinerary: A Memorable Journey

Our recent family trip to Bali was nothing short of magical. Traveling with my husband and our three children (ages 8, 7, and 3), we had the opportunity to explore some of Bali’s most enchanting locations, creating lasting memories at every turn. Here’s a detailed itinerary of our amazing journey, highlighting the fantastic places we stayed and the unforgettable experiences we had.

Day 1: Arrival and Dinner at La Plancha

We arrived in Bali with excitement in the air. After checking into the Courtyard by Marriott in Seminyak, we took some time to relax and explore our room. The hotel, with its modern amenities and family-friendly atmosphere, provided a perfect start to our trip. That evening, we headed to La Plancha for dinner. This beachfront restaurant offered delicious food and stunning sunset views, setting the tone for the adventure ahead.

Day 2: Poolside Relaxation and Birthday Celebration

Our second day began with a delightful buffet breakfast at the hotel. We spent the morning at Waterbom wearing out the children, which was so much fun! In the afternoon, I treated myself to a facial at Body Works. The evening was dedicated to celebrating a 40th birthday at Potato Head Beach Club, where we enjoyed welcome drinks and the vibrant nightlife.

Day 3: Shopping, Spa, and the Big Birthday Bash

After a leisurely breakfast, we explored the local shops near the Courtyard by Marriott. Later, I indulged in some pampering at Spring Spa. The highlight of the day was the main 40th birthday party at Finns Beach Club. With great music, food, and an incredible atmosphere, it was a night to remember.

Day 4: Pool Time and Recovery Party

We spent the morning by the pool, enjoying some quality family time. In the afternoon, we attended a recovery party at Villa Noku, where the birthday celebrations continued. For dinner, we dined at Boy and Cow, savouring delicious meals in a cosy setting.

Day 5-7: Luxurious Stay at Ayana Resort

We moved to the stunning Ayana Resort in Jimbaran Bay. The next three days were filled with relaxation and indulgence. We dined at various on-site restaurants, swam in the beautiful pools, enjoyed the private beach, and sipped on refreshing cocktails. The Ayana Resort offered a luxurious and serene escape, perfect for unwinding and soaking in the beauty of Bali.

Day 7: Tranquility at Villa Mawara

Our final accommodation was Villa Mawara, a serene private villa in the jungle 20 minutes north of Canggu. Upon arrival, we enjoyed a home-cooked dinner and a surprise fireworks display. The villa provided a perfect blend of comfort and privacy, making it an ideal family retreat. We relished the villa chef’s breakfast and indulged in massages in the villa’s massage hut.

Day 8: Exploring Canggu

We relished the villa chef’s breakfast and indulged in massages in the villa’s massage hut. After breakfast, we ventured out to Canggu, exploring its vibrant streets and enjoying dinner and a swim at The Lawn.

Day 9: Day at Omma

We spent the day at Omma, swimming, dining, and exploring the temple and waterfall. The holy water and serene environment made for a relaxing and culturally enriching experience.

Day 10: Beach Horse Riding and Scooter Adventures

Horse riding on the beach with Kuda P Stables was an exhilarating experience. We also enjoyed scooter rides with the kids, later exploring Canggu and visiting Luna Day Club for a fun evening.

Day 11: Departure

Our trip concluded with a relaxed breakfast at the villa before heading to the airport, bidding farewell to an unforgettable Bali adventure.
